2024 Texas NHRA FallNationals 

The story of the 2024 Texas NHRA FallNationals was the heat. With temperatures in the mid to high 90’s all weekend, the racers had to find ways to tune around the challenging conditions and they did just that. The Texas Motorplex, famous for its superb traction under just about any conditions, provided for some outstanding racing all weekend. Complete round by round race results can be found at NHRA.com

St. Bernard’s Wayne Landry thrashed his way to a semi-final finish in Top Dragster
Justin Ashley captured the Wally in Top Fuel with a 3.77 to 3.76 holeshot win over Clay Millican.
Matt Hagan claimed a narrow .011s holeshot final round victory over Ron Capps 3.94 – 3.93
Jeg Coughlin Jr claimed a close 6.59 to 6.60 final round victory over Greg Anderson
Gaige Herrera topped Matt Smith in a one sided PSM final.
Jasmine Salinas qualified 13th with a 3.78 but fell to Shawn Langdon in round 1.
After qualifying #1 with a 3.81 – 333 mph shot, Austin Prock suffered an unfortunate mechanical failure in the semi-finals.
Tony Stewart’s late season struggles continued as he just got in the show at 15th then fell to Shawn Reed in R1
Dale Creasy Jr ran a career best 3.90 – 326 mph Friday night blast.
Ida Zetterstrom qualified 8th with a solid 3.75 but fell to her teammate Tony Schumacher in R1
Dallas Glenn had another solid outing, losing to teammate Greg Anderson in a tight semi final race
Jack Beckman drove John Force’s Camaro to the #3 spot with a stout 3.83 but had to withdraw from competition due to a medical condition.
Eric Enders sped to a #2 qualifying 6.52 but dropped a tight round 2 battle with Matt Hartford on race day
Ron Tornow experienced mechanical trouble in his first round loss to Jianna Evaristo
John Hall raced to a solid 6.82 #7 qualifying effort but slowed in R1 in a losing effort.
Jimmy Hidalgo lost a tight round 1 battle in Super Stock
