2025 NHRA Amalie Oil Gatornationals

The 2025 NHRA Amalie Oil Gatornationals held at historic Gainesville Raceway can be summed up with one word: CHALLENGING ! From frequent rain, crashes and even a power outage, the men and women of the NHRA Safety Safari put in a Herculean effort all weekend and the end result was some excellent racing. While mother nature did prevail in the end over the Sportsman classes, the weather held out just long enough to complete the competition in the Professional classes with Antron Brown (TF), Chad Green (FC), Dallas Glenn (PS) and Gaige Herrara (PSM) taking home the Wally’s. Several Louisiana sportsman racers were in attendance with Wayne Landry of St. Bernard winning two rounds in both Super Comp and Top Dragster Ross Laris of Raceland winning two rounds in Top Dragster and Jimmy Hidalgo winning two rounds in Stock Eliminator before weather put a halt to competition in those classes. A complete recap of the action and round by round results can be found at NHRA.COM .
